A meaningful summer programme for Muslim teenagers
Help your teenager use the summer holidays to develop essential Islamic knowledge, strengthen their connection with the Qur’an and gain confidence in practising their faith.
The Ikhlaas Learning Teen Summer Programme is a three-week live online course combining practical Fiqh, lessons from Surah al-Kahf and foundational Tajweed.
Across nine interactive sessions, students will learn through clear explanations, Qur’anic stories, practical scenarios, guided recitation, discussions and weekly quizzes.
What students will study
1)Fiqh for Teens: Taharah and Salah
Students will develop a practical understanding of purification and prayer, including:
-The meaning and importance of taharah
-The correct method of performing wudu
-Actions that invalidate wudu
-Ghusl and when it becomes necessary
-Tayammum and when it may be performed
-Preparing the body, clothing and place for salah
-The essential conditions and pillars of salah
-Common prayer mistakes
-Performing salah at school, while travelling and away from home
The lessons will include realistic scenarios relevant to teenagers.
2)Stories from Surah al-Kahf
Students will explore three major stories:
-The People of the Cave: faith, courage, friendship and remaining firm under pressure
-The Owner of the Two Gardens: gratitude, pride, wealth, comparison and the temporary nature of this world
-Musa and Khidr: humility, patience, seeking knowledge and trusting Allah when we cannot see the full picture
Students will be encouraged to reflect on how the lessons of the Surah apply to their own choices and experiences.
3)Tajweed 101
Students will study and practise:
-Makharij and the correct articulation of Arabic letters
-Commonly confused letters
-Essential Tajweed principles
-Heavy and light pronunciation
-Noon saakin and tanween
-Meem saakin
-Ghunnah
-Practical application using selected Surahs from Juz Amma

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Time: 6:00–7:00 pm UK time
